This is a great opportunity for an experienced Clinical Record Administrative Support Officer to join the close-knit Medical Records Team.

In this role, you will see yourself providing operational support to ensure the effective running of the Christchurch Hospital Clinical Record Department.

The department runs a seven day a week service.

This is a varied role so your ability to organise and prioritise your workload, coupled with your desire to help those around you and build strong relationships will quickly see you succeed in this position.

This role is a permanent, full time role based at Christchurch Hospital. Please note that this position includes working evenings and weekends.

As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to National Band 3/Profile 3C

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Provision of Health Information for Clinical Care
  • Maintenance and Storage of the Clinical Record
  • Scanning of Patient Information

Your skills will include:

Essential:

  • MS Excel skills at intermediate level
  • A focus on customer service and quality patient outcomes
  • A high level of problemsolving skills

Desirable:

  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Competent knowledge of all Waitaha Canterbiry's Patient Management Systems
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Ability to meet established deadlines
  • Good influencing skills
  • High level of analytical skills
