Mō mātou | About Us
At the highest level, what we do at Te Tai Ōhanga The Treasury is pretty simple. We're creating a better future for New Zealand and everyone who calls our amazing country home.

We're the Government's economic and financial advisor, working hard to raise the standard of living for everyone in Aotearoa, now and in the future.

New Zealand Debt Management (NZDM) is responsible for managing the Crown's borrowing needs and associated investment portfolios.

We build and maintain relationships with domestic and global participants in New Zealand's Government debt market products, manage Crown cash needs, and provide support to government departments in their financial risk management requirements.

We're looking for an experienced, driven, Senior Engagement Advisor to join NZDM to provide expert advice on our strategies and help develop our communications outputs.

Day-to-day, you'll support the Director and other members of NZDM in their external engagements and communications strategy while assisting with preparing high profile publications.

You'll also play a central role in NZDM's internal communications, maintaining effective connections across the Treasury.

Alongside this, you'll manage media and Official Information Act requests, as well as updating and creating content for the NZDM website.

Ko ngā hua | What we Offer
We know it's a big job and that's why we take such good care of our Treasury whānau.

It starts by supporting your wellbeing with flexible work arrangements, five weeks annual leave, and a range of other health and wellbeing initiatives that encourage a positive work/life balance.

The wharenui, at the heart of our workplace, embodies our commitment to diversity and making this an inclusive place that will welcome the unique experiences and perspectives you bring to our collaborative team culture.
