Our Product Analysts work alongside teams that have the greatest demand for a Product Analyst. Towers are varied and made up of Cloud Infrastructure, Networks, Gateways, End User Compute, Idam/PKI, Web and Database.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and Experience

As an Analyst you will have the opportunity to develop new or improve current processes and systems by developing user stories and acceptance criteria with stakeholders, ensuring that products have traceability back to user needs.

You will also assist product owners with future sprint planning and roadmaps, taking data that's available today and synthesising enhancement opportunities.

Ideally you will have knowledge and understanding of Core Compute (advantageous).
Knowledge of, or exposure to a combination of the following technical skills

  • Elicitation;
  • Business Process Modelling;
  • Business writing experience;
  • Understanding of Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) and AGILE;
  • Understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL); and
  • Cost Benefit analysis (desirable).
Additional skills

  • Ability to build relationships and good rapport, good communication;
  • Risk analysis and Process Improvement with a learning mind set;
  • Able to Demonstrate an interest to learn and adopt to new technologies; and
  • Self Starter/Adaptable/Team Player.

The NZDF Defence Digital Group uses a range of satellite and terrestrial systems to support more than 14,000 personnel, many of whom are operating in geographically remote or hostile environments.

Our purpose is to provide specialist Digital support to core mission and intelligence, as well as supporting essential corporate functions such as Logistics, Human Resources and Finance.

bases, ships, vehicles or aircraft.
