Te Haeata / The OpportunityTe Kura Kaiwhakawa / lnstitute of Judicial Studies (Te Kura) is the education arm of the judiciary providing education and development for judges throughout their careers.

The programme encompasses a wide range of services and activities spanning mentoring, professional development and technical training, through to enhancing human rights and gender and family violence responsiveness.

An important objective of the programmes is to support relationships between mainstream and Pasifika justice systems in ways which increase access to fair and high-quality justice for vulnerable people.

As Support Services and Project Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to Te Kura's Pacific team and its advisory and governance committees, and support the implementation of events and activities.

You understand and recognise cross-cultural issues and are open to continued learning about yourself and others in the diverse communities you will be working with across both New Zealand and the Pacific.You will have

  • Diary management experience
  • Advanced ability with full MS Office suite of tools
  • Advanced level of proficiency in office procedures, business processes and database management, and the ability to adapt and learn new processes

The PJSP aims to promote a stable, prosperous and resilient Pacific through support for the development of accessible, fair, responsive and efficient justice systems.

Utu ā-tau / SalaryThe appointing salary for this role will be between $58,729 and $75,043 based on skills and experience.
