The role:


Our Security Officers are a vital part of our team providing front-line Security services to protect the safety and security of our customers, staff and property.

They're a dedicated and hardworking team who are often the first point of call for any issues that arise.

As well as ad-hoc requests, they'll have a rotation of daily tasks to get involved in providing heaps of variety on the job.


You:


Being a customer service role, you'll be someone who loves dealing with customers and you'll have a positive attitude to boot.

Obviously, you'll be friendly and approachable, but you'll also be professional and able to think quickly on your feet where needed.

You'll love talking to our customers and have great communication skills both written and verbal, and you know the importance of being a true team player.

The must-have's

  • You'll need to be at least 20 years of age
  • You'll need to have a full NZ drivers' licence (or be able to get this within a few months of starting)
  • Good credit history for your COA licence (SkyCity will pay for this for you)


Our Security team work on a Monday - Sunday rotating roster, so you'll need to have the availability to work days and nights across any day.

It would also help if you had some basic computer skills.
