About the role


Te Pae Oranga is primarily for people who commit low level offending where it is not in the public interest to prosecute but they do need to be held to account for their offending behaviour.

Te Pae Oranga helps people to address their behaviours that are driving offending, thereby assisting to reduce their likelihood of reoffending.

Ara Whānui is the case management system used by Police and Te Pae Oranga Providers to manage cases through the Te Pae Oranga process
The purpose of this role is to support the Ara Whānui case management system including:

  • Onboarding of facilitators and panel members
  • Day to day Ara Whānui support, and
  • Oversight of monthly provider invoicing activities.


To support the delivery of these outcomes the Business Support Analyst will be responsible for the efficient and effective day to day monitoring, administration, and maintenance of the Ara whānui cases and support requests.

You will work effectively as a member of the Te Pae Oranga Support team, demonstrate a can do attitude and be proactive, demonstrate good time management and communication skills, and be the first level support for both service and systems for Te Pae Oranga and Ara Whanui and carry out the necessary tasks.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Set up templates and streamline work systems.
  • Ensure on a monthly basis that Providers are keeping their administration uptodate in Ara Whānui.
  • Maintain liaison and communication with persons and organisations impacting upon their position. Including Police staff within the District, Iwi Partners providing panels and Supported Resolution Service providers.
