About the role
We're looking for an Administrator Receptionist Superstar to work from our Hillsborough Heights Village, based in Mt Roskill.

Reporting to the Village Manager, you will provide quality and timely reception and administration support which enables effective service delivery for our Independent Village Residents and Staff.

This is a 37.5 hour per week position, which provides the opportunity for growth as we grow or maybe you're looking for a role with family friendly hours.


We are seeking someone to bring their administration experience, people skills and their enthusiasm to the Village and to be the first point of contact for our staff, residents, contractors and visitors.

This role has a normal working pattern of three days administration support to the Village Manager and Heads of Department and two days reception, but this can change at short notice, so someone who is flexible with a "not a problem" attitude is essential to ensuring the atmosphere at our Village reflects the service standards we excel at.

On offer is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm within a friendly supportive team

Some of the great things you will be doing

  • Managing our fast paced, busy reception area and being the smiling first point of contact for our residents, visitors and contractors.
  • General administration (some routine and some out of left field) across all aspects of the business in a timely and often deadline driven environment

About you

  • Previous experience in a similar administration/reception role to ensure you can hit the ground running
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Able to exercise great judgement able to prioritise and use your initiative all with a 'cando' attitude
  • Comfortable with change and new initiatives your flexible, friendly, professional and customer focused approach will reflect your ability to easily deal with whatever comes your way
  • Computer savvy medium to advanced Microsoft suite experience and able to pick up new systems, processes and ways of doing things quickly
