About the Role:

Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in finance administration. If so, there now exists an opportunity for a Financial Administrator within a dynamic construction company in Christchurch. This role provides key support across business finance, managing data and other key administrative tasks. This role would suit someone want between hours per week.

Your role will include:

  • Manage all financial transactions and bookkeeping activities.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses, providing regular updates to the management team.
  • Manage financial documentation, contracts, and invoices to maintain an organized recordkeeping system.

To succeed in this role you will be/have:

  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
