About the role


We're on the lookout for a passionate HR and recruitment leader to join our team on a fixed-term contract while our People and Recruitment Manager is on maternity leave.

This role reports to the CEO and works closely with the Operations team.

We're a lean team and this is a stand-alone, global role that would suit someone who enjoys being a generalist and is comfortable in context switching from low to high-level tasks.

The CEO is based in the US and relies heavily on a "self-starter" who is comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out.

This role could be full-time, or 32 hours a week. Specifically, this role will;

  • Cover everything from employer brand, attraction and selection, onboarding, training and development, performance management, leadership training, global policy and compliance management, new office setup and board reporting.
  • Own our company hiring plan and take accountability for our hiring budget
  • Work with the leadership team to identify and lead key people and culture initiatives to feed into our People strategy
  • Support company growth through recruiting for a range of global roles across Sales/Marketing, Customer Success, Engineering and Product will be a large part of this role
  • Be a part of our culture club and be a key contributor to building a highperforming culture and keeping our employee engagement high
  • Manage and deliver leadership training to build our next generation of leaders
  • Prepare informative monthly reporting packs on our people and culture for our leadership team and Board of Directors
  • Take accountability of managing our monthly townhalls (All of company meetings)
  • Lead our internal employee satisfaction programme to ensure our people are engaged and empowered and when issues arise, support in developing the solution.
  • Pitch in with wider operations team tasks we have a oneteam approach here and always try to help each other out.
A bit about you;

  • Experience working in an internal HR role, the more generalist in nature the better
  • Experience having accountability for a hiring plan and budget
  • Ability to recruit across a diverse range of roles both through direct sourcing as well as working with agencies
  • Proven experience delivering a range of people initiatives that drive company success
  • Identifying gaps in process and structure and coming up with new policies that support a growth agenda
  • Experience with leadership training and development, and a passion for driving a highperforming culture
  • Prior experience working in a startup or highgrowth environment would be ideal
  • Ability to getting stuck into the detail as well as do the big picture thinking
  • A passion for great employee experience
