Working amongst the best, you'll develop the skills to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our gas pipelines and related assets.


Not only will you be supported to complete your trade apprenticeship, you'll also be earning the living wage (with annual reviews) and work alongside our experienced team based around the North Island.


Job Description:

Kickstart Electrical and Instrumentation Trade Career
We have an opening in Hamilton for an _Instrument and Electrical _apprentice. In this role you will work alongside experienced trades people. You will learn how to install, maintain, and repair analytical, metering, control, and communication equipment. Working on a variety of stations from our Delivery Points through to our large multi engine Compressor Stations.

As part of your apprenticeship, you'll be supported to complete the following qualifications required to become a dual trade Instrument and Electrician Technician.


  • Electrical Engineering Level 4 (Electrician)
  • Industrial Measurement and Control Level 4 (Instrument Technician)

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • Mechanically mind
  • Positive and adaptable ready to live our TIGER values
  • A motivated problem solver.
  • An eagerness to develop and learn.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team and work independently.
  • Prepared to travel to areas of the North Island and stay overnight at times.
  • A full driver's licence (or on path to).
