We are seeking a
Graduate Electrical Engineer to join us in early 2025 to work through a structured two year development program at our Kinleith Mill.

The program is customized specifically to focus on the pulp and paper industry and the operational needs of our mills.

It develops the technical, teamwork and management skills needed for our graduate engineers to grow and continually hone their craft, and ultimately progress to become our leaders of the future.

What experience awaits you:


Working alongside a team of experienced engineers in either our Engineering or Maintenance team, you will be involved in a wide variety of plant improvement or maintenance projects from concept through to commissioning.

You will be responsible for ordering components, working with electrical contractors during construction and installations, controlling and planning finances, maintaining and creating electrical drawing and product for eventual testing and commissioning.

Over the duration of the program, you can expect to learn technical expertise in, development, maintenance and optimisation of process control systems, distributed control systems and PLC's, AC/DC drive installations, instrument & process measurements and power distributed systems.


You will have the following attributes:

  • A minimum tertiary qualification of a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
  • Demonstrate good work ethic and time management skills
  • Ability to be innovative with an eye for detail
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the company
  • Capable of working within a diverse cross functional team
  • Positive attitude
  • Eligible to work in NZ.
The
Kinleith Mill is located approximately 8kms south of Tokoroa, in the Central North Island, an outdoor person's paradise.

The Mill is short distance Tokoroa, an easy commute from Rotorua or Taupo and a little further afield is Cambridge and Hamilton.
