Defence Digital Group's (DDG) purpose is to link our Force to the people, the information and the technology whilst they undertake their duties safeguarding Aotearoa New Zealand.

Recently, Service Management within Defence Digital, underwent a transformative change, now dedicated solely to connecting IT to our frontline forces.

This new role will collaborate with other leaders in your team, supporting the allocation and integration of staff and deliverables into Agile DDG work programmes and teams.

You will balance both the business needs of customers and stakeholders as well as the skills and capabilities of individuals.

In addition, this position plays crucial part in providing quality career direction, guidance and coaching to the high performing team.

This role is based in Petone, Wellington where your team and the greater DDG are based.

We are looking for a motivated, passionate person who can keep things moving along whilst maintaining a focus on our customer needs and our internal business needs.


Other skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • SAFe or equivalent agile certification (copy of certificates will be required at interview stage).
  • Previous RTE or scrum master experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of leading people, process and technology and consider yourself to be a natural leader with the proven ability to motivate people.
  • Can deal with ambiguity and comfortable taking accountability and leading change.
