As a Business Process Improvement Lead in the Practice and Governance team you will work to drive the culture and capability of continuous improvement in the organization.

Bringing your passion to the delivery of training and the mentoring of continuous improvement and change initiatives across the organisation.


The Lead takes a pivotal role supporting the team to manage, maintain and improve the foundations of the practice and the governance of the wider business process improvement team.


To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a passion for business process improvement with a strong desire to make a difference
  • Ideally be Lean 6 Sigma Green or Black belt certified and have experience in operation excellence
  • Be experienced in coaching and mentoring in a continuous improvement practice as you'll be coaching those new to Lean, as well as Leaders and delivering White Belt training
  • Have a willingness to take on challenges and lead by example
  • Be a selfstarter with the ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly
  • The ability to positively motivate and work with people through change and in projects
  • You get a kick out of helping people, taking them on a journey and getting them to those 'aha' moments
  • The ability to partner with the business and manage multiple relationship across a wide variety of stakeholders, making strong connections and encourage people to work together to get the very best outcomes
  • You want to make a difference in the way services are delivered to the people of New Zealand
