Mō te tūranga - About the role

As a Senior Marketing Manager in our Marketing Centre of Excellence, you'll play a key role in helping develop and deliver marketing strategies for a customer segment in the newly formed Brand and Advertising Discipline. This role is responsible for executing marketing campaigns and initiatives that grow the ANZ brand, create positive financial wellbeing outcomes for our customers, and achieve growth objectives for our business.

As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Identify and develop propositions that will best address current and emerging customer needs.
  • Develop communication plans and creative/media execution.
  • Team leadership – provide effective and values led leadership for a squad of multi-disciplinary team members.
  • Develop and implement current and future best practice within the Brand and Advertising discipline.
  • Making sure initiatives are developed in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure all financial, reputational, and operational risks are effectively managed.

Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • 7 years+ marketing or customer strategy experience.
  • Expert domain knowledge in brand and advertising programmes.
  • Advanced knowledge of creative advertising development.
  • Ability to guide and judge creative excellence by developing high-quality AV, visual and written communications.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Insight development, an inquisitive mindset and ability to identify and develop customer insight.
  • Problem solving & numerical skills, including strong ability to interpret customer insights into action.
  • Partner management skills, ability to build positive and productive relationships with external marketing partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and influence positive collaborative relationships with mid-senior level internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic planning skills, including ability to craft and present strategic recommendations.
  • Persuasion and influencing skills, including ability to confidently present and gain buy-in to strategic recommendation.
  • Highly organised, excellent prioritisation and capacity management skills.
