We have an incredible opportunity for an experienced data and reporting specialist to join our CPMO function.

Mō te tūnga | About the role

The Principal Analyst is responsible for analysing data from across the portfolio, and using this to provide strategic advice and insights to senior leaders to support decision making.

The role will have responsibility to ensure that change delivery lens is incorporated into the business planning processes across the organisation.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Analyse large volumes of data in an effective and efficient manner, and use these insights to provide regular reports to senior leaders
  • Work closely with project teams, communities of practice, governance and stakeholders to predict and mitigate risks across the programme
  • Lead the development and implementation of prioritisation processes and use these insights to contribute to the business planning process
  • Develop strategies, tools, and work plans to meet the team's objectives, enhance team effectiveness and align to wider change objectives
  • Engage across the team to understand areas for support, guidance and input within change initiatives
Mōu | About you

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting a large change programme, ideally at least 5 years' experience, delivering new services and changes to critical business functions
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences, and to build and maintain rapport with others
  • Proven analytical skills across significant data sets
  • Good knowledge of current thinking of the best practices to deliver large scale change
  • Effective time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Selfmotivated and ability to work unsupervised
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Effective leadership, verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences and build and maintain rapport with others.
  • An understanding of te ao Māori, and how it relates to the Oranga Tamariki Change portfolio
