The Role


In this role you will report to the Area Manager and will be responsible for the management of the Repco Gisborne team, overseeing all branch operations and the business profitability.

As a dual format business looking after both Trade and Retail customers you will need to have a flair for business, managing sales targets, budgets and new initiatives, whilst also being the key point of contact for both customers and team members.


Specific duties include:

  • Managing the store to increase sales and improve EBIT
  • Ensuring the store is highly competitive and attractive in the market
  • Developing staff to deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge
  • Building strong relationships with customers to ensure continued market leadership
  • Contribute to the profitability, growth and return on investment of the company by developing and implementing strategic initiatives
  • Ensure the branch safety standards adhere to OHSE policies, procedures and legislative requirements, through effective communication with the team and an active approach to hazard identification and risk management
  • Creating a supportive and motivating environment for your team to learn and develop their skills and knowledge, whilst clearly understanding their role and accountabilities
  • Effectively manage inventory to minimise costs to the business and maximise efficiencies

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a management position, with accountability for profit and loss statements
  • 5+ years experience within the automotive industry
  • Passionate, sociable and engaging personality who will drive our staff to succeed
  • Proven experience developing relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen in both sales and reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail
