Traffic Technician

About the role
Reporting to the Traffic Manager your role will be field, and office based, working in the Journeys Operations Team.


You'll recognise the importance of the role as a Treaty partner and understand how that underpins Gisborne District Council's work.


Duties Include:

  • Processing Traffic Management Plans (TMP)
  • Supporting the Journeys Traffic Manager to ensure adequate monitoring and audit of all traffic management within the RCA's roading network

Skills & experience:

  • Good customer ethos and be willing to go the extra mile to serve customers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally
  • A willingness to learn
Anyone with practical hands on experience will suit this role.
