Mō te tūnga | About the role
We are looking for a Talent Lead Operations to join our newly formed Recruitment Leadership Team.

In this role you will act as the lead across all operational aspects of our recruitment function, which includes the management of recruitment analytics, reporting dashboards, and applicant tracking system.

This role manages our Recruitment and Vetting Administrators.

This role combines operational and strategic recruitment objectives and you will work closely with the Recruitment Manager, Senior Talent Partners and the wider People Culture and Enabling stakeholders.

You will help respond to OIA's, Select Committee and any Parliamentary questions and contribute to key recruitment projects and deliverables.

You will help manage recruitment campaigns and sourcing strategies.

This role is a great opportunity to step into leadership and you will have an interest in coaching, mentoring and developing your team.

You will be a passionate recruiter who is organised, pragmatic and results oriented.

Key requirements of the role include:

  • Significant recruitment experience recruitment experience within a high-volume environment
  • Be a strategic thinker with the ability to make sound tactical recruitment decisions and planning
  • Excellent understanding of all recruitment related activities including (i.e. talent sourcing, behavioural interviewing, knowledge of testing and employment checking, and working with collective employment agreements etc.)
  • Proven experience in providing quality recruitment expertise, support and partnering to hiring managers in a costeffective way
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with a wide range of people with varying backgrounds and diversity of skills and experience
  • Demonstrated sound judgement and ability to use data and market insights
  • Ability to navigate and give attention to wider business context and market conditions to inform decision making
