At IDEA Services, our mission is to provide exceptional support services to individuals in our communities who are living with intellectual disabilities.
As a Schedule Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate strong and trustworthy relationships with Support Workers and their managers (Service Managers) to ensure seamless roster management.
This role plays a critical part in guaranteeing uninterrupted services for the individuals we support.Joining our collaborative and dedicated team, you will find fulfilment and enjoyment in the meaningful work we do.
A significant aspect of your role will involve frequent communication with Support Workers, discussing advance rosters and addressing short-notice sick leave requirements.
Your systematic approach and prior experience in proactive planning will greatly contribute to the success of this position.
In this fast-paced environment, you will need resilience to remain composed and effectively meet deliverables even in high-pressure situations where things may not go as planned.
This opportunity offers a rewarding experience to be part of an established non-profit organization that is making a positive impact in our communities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
- Ability to build trusting working relationships quickly.
- Previous administration experience (scheduling or rostering experience highly desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a professional telephone manner.
- Experience with Conflict Management and the ability to reach an outcome quickly.
- Experience working within a variable environment and the ability to prioritize to achieve desired outcomes.
- Confidence with computer systems including Microsoft Office suite, and the aptitude to learn new systems quickly.
- Great attention to detail, effective multitasking abilities, and a cando attitude.
