We have a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team.

Reporting to the Team Leader of the Property and Fleet team, you will support the business to coordinate administrative functions to ensure the efficient and effective provision of property and fleet services within Waikato Regional Council.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day administration of tasks related to the maintenance of Council's property and fleet including contracting and management of suppliers.
  • Develop policy and processes to support the property and fleet services function.
  • Timely response and effective resolution to stakeholder enquiries and feedback.
  • Responsible for raising and receipt of purchase orders and providing training on systems and processes

Responsibilities as a property and fleet coordinator:

  • Responsible for all safety, cleaning, compliance, and servicing requirements for vehicles and property assets.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all systems for property and fleet including Smartrak and building security.
  • Provide training on systems and processes to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop collateral, web content, policy and process to support the property and fleet services function.
  • Responsible for raising and receipt of purchase orders
  • Day to day administration of tasks related to the maintenance of Council's property and fleet including contracting and management of suppliers.
  • Leads engagement with area office staff, including regular site visits and inspections.
  • Coordinate fleet and property forums as required
  • Investigate and respond to public and stakeholder enquiries including reporting from the service portal. Timely investigation of complaints and determine whether corrective actions are required.
  • Monitor and analyse fleet and property patterns and prepare monthly reporting as required.
  • Responsible for external and internal audit processes and compliance

Qualifications:

A minimum of National Diploma/Certificate Level 4 or equivalent skills and experience

Experience:

  • Be skilled at establishing excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great organisational skills including time management and prioritising, as well as the ability to multitask.
  • Previous experience ideally in property and fleet.

  • High level of computer skills including Microsoft products
