As Area Manager for the Canterbury region of the AA Centre Network you will play a critical part in the wider Centre Network leadership team. Reporting to the Head of Centre Network you will form part of a dynamic and successful team of Area Managers and contribute to the growth and development of front-line leadership capabilities as well as the growth of the wider Centre Network.

Responsible for leading five Customer Centre Managers you will be accountable for delivering the business unit strategy together with the overall financial and operational performance, planning and organising of AA Customer Centres within your area. You will lead the team to deliver customer focused and compliant customer experiences in financial services products and government contract services. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Monitor Customer Centre performance and productivity ensuring these meet performance measures
  • Develop and mentor managers on the optimisation of people, capability and skill levels, equipment and property needs
  • Ensure Customer Centres are delivering a consistent brand experience of the highest quality.
  • Facilitate the needs of the local AA District Council representing the interests of the District Council and AA members.

To be successful in this role you will have extensive leadership skills with a proven track record in being outcome focused with strong leadership qualities and the ability to solve problems effectively. You will have a collaborative approach to leading those in the financial services, professional or retail services sectors. We are looking for someone with commercial acumen and proven leadership skills to help us lift the capability of our network through developing others and delivering strong Customer Centre performance while building an engaged culture that aligns with the AA's values.
