We are seeking experienced Digital Channels Advisors to join the Digital Channels Team within a large government organisation, to work as part of this team who provide expert, quality digital channels advice and service that supports their organisation's needs.


About the role
Working in partnership with the business and the team, aspects of this role will include:

  • taking the lead on a website or portfolio. Ensuring the 'look and feel' supports the objectives and a positive user experience
- identifying opportunities for new content, enhancements
- handling all communications that support the website
- gathering user insights for analysis and reporting purposes
- analysing user activity and providing proactive advice to grow and develop the site
- providing web support and maintenance services to support the web service.

Skills & Experience
- demonstrated current experience in online web content creation and publishing
- a proven ability and commitment to publish accessible, user friendly content
- prior experience developing, implementing and evaluating digital strategy for best practice
- practical experience with Content Management Systems (ideally Silverstripe), Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
- excellent written communication skills, specifically when writing for the web
- an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of user experience principles and best practice
- website analysis and reporting skills
- excellent relationship management skills
- a collaborative, adaptable nature
- a knowledge and understanding of working within government.
