About the role | Kōrero mō te tūranga
- We are seeking a strong Human Resources generalist to provide proactive leadership of all people initiatives for Engineering New Zealand. This is a parttime role with a 0.6 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE), equating to 22.5 hours per week. While this role will be based primarily from our Wellington office, we can offer the option to work one day per week from home, if you wish. We can also offer flexibility in both days and hours worked during the week.
As our People Experience Manager you will be involved at all levels of the business, supporting leaders to develop and implement the people strategy.
Additionally, you will oversee the provision of a diverse range of people services with the support of a full-time People Experience Advisor.
This is a busy role and will draw on your broad range of HR knowledge.As well as providing day to day advice and leadership coaching, you will support change initiatives, manage projects and hold relationships with external partners.
Desired skills and experience | Ngā tino pūkenga/whēako
- Tertiary qualification in HR and/or comparable experience in a senior people role.
- Experience working with senior leaders including Chief Executive and/or Governing Board members.
- Strong experience in a range of HR disciplines such as recruitment, organisational development, remuneration, and employment relations.
- People and organisationoriented project and change management experience.
- People management and leadership experience with the ability to inspire and hold people to account.
- Technical proficiency with a range of systems including payroll and HR systems.
