Join a Company on the Rise
We are a fast-growing, values-driven business specialising in Audio Visual, IT & Data Cabling, Electrical, and Electronic Security Services. Built on expert tradesmanship, reliability, and a commitment to doing things properly, we are expanding rapidly — and we're ready to bring in a key leader who will help drive our next stage of growth.
We don't want someone who simply "manages."
We want someone who takes ownership, brings discipline and structure, and becomes one of the core people shaping the future of the company.
If you thrive on systems, processes, accountability, and building high-performing teams — this is your opportunity to make a major impact.
Our core values are Family, Excellence, Team, Safety, Accountability, Loyalty, Hard Work and Fun. If these resonate with you, you'll feel right at home.
The Opportunity
As our Operations Manager, you will be the operational engine of the business — overseeing day-to-day execution, guiding our technicians and support team, and ensuring every project is delivered at the highest standard.
You will bring order, structure, and systems thinking to a busy, fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who wants to step into a leadership position where their decisions genuinely matter.
You will work closely with the owners/senior leadership and be trusted to run operations with confidence and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and develop our installation technicians, support team, and subcontractors
• Own labour planning, scheduling, and project coordination to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Oversee project budgets, cost control, resource allocation, and risk management
• Maintain compliance with H&S regulations, building codes, quality standards, and internal policies
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact for issue resolution
• Develop and refine operational systems, SOPs, and processes to drive consistency and scalability
• Track KPIs and operational performance, providing insights and improvement actions
• Forecast operational needs and support strategic planning as the company continues to grow
About You
You are someone who takes control, owns the role, and thrives in a leadership position. You understand the trades environment and know how to bring out the best in teams.
Ideally, you'll bring:
• Proven operations management experience (Electrical, Telecommunications / IT Cabling, Audio Visual, Security or similar preferred)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold people accountable
• Exceptional planning, organisation, and problem-solving capability
• Confidence managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A process-driven mindset with a natural instinct for improvement and efficiency
If you're proactive, structured, and serious about delivering excellence — you'll excel here.
What You'll Receive
• Competitive remuneration (performance rewarded)
• 100% subsidised Southern Cross medical cover (after first 90 days)
• Company vehicle
• Paid birthday leave (after first 12 months)
• Supportive environment that values professionalism, ownership, and quality
• Genuine opportunities for career progression as the business continues to scale
• A chance to step into one of the most influential roles in the company
This is not just a job — it's an opportunity to become a key part of a growing organisation and help shape its future.
Ready to Lead?
If you're driven, disciplined, and ready to take charge of a fast-growing operational environment, we want to hear from you.
