Broadlands Finance Limited, a long-established Auckland-based finance company with more than three decades of successful operation, is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking General Manager to guide the organisation into its next phase of growth.

This is a significant leadership opportunity for someone who can confidently manage people, operations, compliance, and strategic direction while sustaining the strong reputation Broadlands has built over many years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership and direction across the business
  • Oversee operational performance, including lending workflows and customer service excellence
  • Ensure Broadlands continues to meet all regulatory and compliance obligations
  • Support and develop staff to maintain a positive, engaged, high-performing culture
  • Work closely with the Board to shape long-term strategy and identify opportunities for growth
  • Maintain and enhance strong stakeholder and client relationships

What We're Looking For

We welcome interest from strong leaders with proven management experience, ideally within finance, lending, or a related professional services environment. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Experience managing compliance-driven operations
  • Familiarity with finance-sector platforms and processes (training can be provided)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and develop people
  • A practical, solution-focused approach
