General Manager – Beachcomber Fiji Island Resort

Beachcomber Fiji Island Resort is seeking a motivated and career-driven General Manager to train with existing GM for 2 months. This is a unique opportunity to develop your leadership skills in a dynamic hospitality environment while living and working in one of the world's most stunning island destinations.

About the Role

As the General Manager, you will drive the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest service and operational excellence. You will work closely with department heads to implement effective management strategies that enhance profitability and elevate the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance departments
  • Provide leadership, training, and support to staff in line with resort standards and business objectives
  • Monitor operational performance and ensure budgetary targets are met or exceeded
  • Drive sales and marketing initiatives to maximise room yield and revenue
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel industry
  • Willingness to relocate and live on-site in Fiji
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with guests and staff
  • Highly motivated with a passion for hospitality and tourism
  • Experience with RMS software is highly desirable
