About The Role ...

The Area Manager at General Pants is responsible for delivering an exceptional store experience across their area by driving key business strategies across sales, operations, visual merchandising, product, and people.

This role is pivotal in achieving strong KPI results while building highly engaged, accountable, and effective store teams. You lead by example, show up with intent, and actively seek out growth opportunities while aligning with the broader business strategy.

As an influential leader, you think commercially, act with purpose, and partner with your teams to embed excellence and drive performance.

What You'll Bring ...

  • 2+ years' experience as an Area Manager or equivalent, overseeing multiple retail stores
  • Proven success in developing and coaching high-performing teams
  • A strong customer-first mindset with the ability to elevate the in-store experience
  • Solid understanding of retail operations, KPI delivery, and commercial decision-making
  • Experience in performance management, change leadership, and accountability
  • Strong visual merchandising knowledge and its impact on performance
  • Proven ability to drive results through product, people, and process
  • Experience in recruiting, building, and retaining top talent
  • A commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering work environment
