About the Role:

Strong focus on the smooth running of the daily operations including managing the kitchen pass, barista station, and beverage dispense bar. The role will work closely with the Onemata Restaurant operational managers.

  • Works closely with Outlet Managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
  • To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu and the ability to recommend food and beverage combinations and up sell alternatives
  • To train staff to ensure that standards are adhered to.
  • To liaise with the Kitchen and Beverage department on daily basis, regarding the operation and quality control.
  • To assist in controlling the stock, storage and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.
  • To establish a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationships.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Excellent customer service and Interpersonal Skills
  • The ability to work efficiently and professionally under pressure
  • Flexibility to work on a full-time rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts.
  • Familiar with wine styles and grape varieties and other beverage items
  • Current GM Certificate
