About the role

Reporting into the Head of Operations, this Operator Manager role is a critical position within the One Place for Property team. As Operator Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Queenstown-based valet management business, ensuring we deliver exceptional service to our development partner and owner clients. This is a contract role with the possibility of extension.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage a team of groomer, drivers, providing leadership, coaching and support to ensure they are performing at their best
  • Oversee the effective and efficient administration of the motor club, including drafting lease agreements, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and stakeholder communications
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational excellence and enhance the customer experience
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, tenants, and contractors
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the overall business strategy
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies
  • Assist with the training and onboarding of new team members

What we're looking for

  • Substantial experience in an operations role, ideally gained within a local complimentary industry
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to juggle multiple priorities and ensure deadlines are met
  • Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using management software and other relevant technologies
