About the Role

We're looking for a calm, capable and professional Weekend Duty Manager to support our operations team and ensure everything runs seamlessly across our busy Friday–Sundays.

This pivotal role supports our drivers, manages real-time guest and agent requests, and ensures our signature LSQ service standards are maintained — every experience, every time.

You'll be the point of contact for weekend operations: managing calls, updating bookings, solving last-minute challenges, and providing confident, client-focused leadership.

This is a rostered weekend role, working Friday to Sunday inclusive (potentially Friday to Monday in the future), with responsibility for after-hours client and team support via rostered evening/overnight phone management. Weekend work is essential, reflecting the nature of our busy operations. The position will report into our Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Duty Management

  • Oversee weekend operations and ensure smooth running of all services.
  • Communicate clearly with drivers regarding schedules, delays, and updates.
  • Ensure accuracy in the reservations and dispatch system.
  • Respond quickly to operational changes, ensuring minimal disruption.

Guest & Agent Service

  • Manage weekend phone and email communications.
  • Support guests and agents with bookings, amendments, and service questions.
  • Represent LSQ with warmth, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

Team Support

  • Provide leadership and support to weekend driver-guides.
  • Record incidents, feedback, and maintenance issues for weekday follow-up.
  • Maintain strong communication with weekday operations for smooth handovers.

Skills & Attributes

  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication.
  • Reliable, professional, and proactive.

  • Sound judgement and the ability to prioritise effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Dropbox.

  • A clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in duty management or logistics, within transport or tourism (preferred)
  • Experience with high net-worth clientele (preferred).

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in management, logistics, or operations (preferred but not essential).
  • P endorsement (preferred but not essential)
