**_The Opportunity;_**

We are recruiting for a Operations Manager to join our Queenstown Depot located in Frankton, reporting to the** **Depot Manager.

This role is pivotal in managing and overseeing the day to day operations of the depot to ensure we maintain a level of service, quality and safety that consistently meets and exceeds our customers’ expectations.

This is a great opportunity for an individual that has experience in a similar role and is wanting a new challenge.

Our Queenstown Depot provides a variety of services, including Urban, InterCity and Tours.

Ritchies is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading passenger transport companies with a team of more than 2,000 people providing coach and charter services right across the country. We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public. You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies’ history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model.

**_ About You;_**

You’re a leader that has experience supervising staff, you're tech savvy and have had exposure to creating rosters and scheduling.

You pride yourself on your eye for detail and your time management skills.

You’re a great team player and can communicate with a variety of people in a manner that is concise and easy to understand. You take health and safety seriously and are an advocate for it’s importance.

**_ Your Skills;_**
- Proven experience supervising staff
- Self-starter
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ideally hold full and clean C2 and/or C4 NZ driving license
- Strong communicator
- Great business & commercial acumen
- Ideally experience in the public transport sector
- Health and safety savvy
