What you'll do
- Lead the charge in executing Douglas' international growth strategy, expanding our reach across global markets.
- Build powerful, long-term relationships with customers to uncover and deliver new business and product opportunities.
- Take ownership of sales and market performance, driving profitability and sustainable growth.
- Collaborate across teams to create and implement winning strategies that boost market penetration and strengthen customer partnerships.
- Negotiate and secure high-value contracts while ensuring all commercial obligations are met.
- Use customer insights and market intelligence to shape data-driven growth initiatives and elevate the customer experience.
- Champion new market introductions and deliver on ambitious sales targets.
- Evaluate risks and opportunities to make smart, strategic decisions that fuel Douglas' long-term success.
What you'll bring
- Proven commercial expertise with 5–8 years' experience in Business Development or Key Account Management, ideally within the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industries.
- Strong business acumen with deep understanding of B2B customer experience, insights analysis, costing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Tech-savvy and data-driven, proficiency across Microsoft Office.
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- A strategic thinker with a passion for customer success and a sharp commercial mindset.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and executive presence – able to simplify complexity and engage at all levels.
- Collaborative operator who thrives in cross-functional environments, guiding business partners through change, challenges, and growth.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and driven by process excellence and continuous improvement.
- Resilient and adaptable, with a natural ability to spot opportunities, solve problems, and deliver results in dynamic markets.
