About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Specialist to join the growing Radiology, Interventional and Imaging team. In this role you will report to the Business Manager, for Interventional Radiology, Vascular and Imaging and manage a dynamic sales territory, drive revenue growth, meet and exceed sales objectives through executing on territory sales plans and providing expert technical and clinical support to your customers. This role involves close collaboration with interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, nurses and MRT's and other healthcare professionals with some procedural and technical support required. Driving your role like it's your own business, your hunger to build exceptional relationships will guarantee that business strategies and targets are set up to succeed.
You will be provided with competitive base salary, including bonus and car allowance and medical insurance.
You will ideally sales or clinical experience in Imaging and/or Interventional radiology fields. We would also consider a medical device sales representative with a desire to move into Imaging and Interventional radiology. Other essentials we are looking for:
- Strong sales acumen with a desire to deliver excellent service to our customers and for our suppliers.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills along with collaborative relationship skills
- Great ability to work within set timelines, managing Internal/External customer/supplier requirements
- Driven and self-motivated with ability to work autonomously and with their team to achieve the business goals and objectives.
- Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Willing to help Obex reaching its vision of 'providing better clinical outcomes for NZ patients'
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in medical devices/pharma or relevant clinical experience.
- Ability to comprehend complex medical procedures, translate technical knowledge effectively and provide clinical/procedural support
- Solid understanding of New Zealand hospital systems, procurement processes and regulatory requirements.
- Hold valid NZ Drivers licence
- NZ Resident or be eligible to live and work in NZ
