Purpose:

Reporting to the CEO, this role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the business, including budgeting, cost management, cashflow planning and monthly financial reporting, ensuring quality information for decision making, efficient use of resources, and legal compliance.

Financial planning:

• Provide financial forecasting, analysis, and recommendations to support business decisions.

• Identify opportunities for growth, cost savings, and improved profitability.

• Support capital raising efforts and relationships with investors, lenders, and financial institutions.

Financial reporting:

• Oversee all accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting activities.

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, reports for bi-monthly board meetings and quarterly shareholder reports.

• Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure operational stability.

Operational Leadership

• Set and Monitor budgets with monthly cost tracking.

• Provide clear financial insights to guide operational and strategic decisions. (Eg. Promotional pricing).

• Manage relationships with external accountants, banks, insurance and other key suppliers

Risk Management

• Identify and manage financial risks.

• Ensure appropriate insurance coverage and risk mitigation strategies.

• Maintain oversight of contracts and major financial commitments.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the beverage or FMCG industry.

• A Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) or CPA Australia membership.

• Strong commercial insight and metrics driven with the ability to analyse complex financial data, provide actionable insights, and support sound business decisions.
