Logistics & Inventory Manager – 10-Month Fixed Term (Parental Leave Cover)

A great wine never ships itself. Trinity Hill needs a savvy Logistics & Inventory Manager to keep our wines flowing from vineyard to glass while a key team member is on maternity leave. This is a 10-month fixed-term role with plenty of variety, challenge, and Gimblett Gravels views.

Trinity Hill is an iconic Hawke's Bay winery with more than 25 years of crafting acclaimed wines from the world-class Gimblett Gravels Wine Growing District.

What you'll do

This role is the beating heart of our logistics operation. Key focus areas include:

Stock Management

• Maintain accurate stock levels of packaged and unlabelled wine

• Reconcile monthly reports

• Oversee stocktakes

• Coordinate vintage rollovers and overseas samples

Packaging & Production Logistics

• Maintain the bottling plan with our Winemaking team

• Book packaging runs and manage dry goods purchasing

• Check and approve labels against global requirements

• Create BOMs, stock codes and update systems

• Manage dispatches

Sales Support & Export

• Process export orders and manage freight timeframes

• Ensure compliance with documentation requirements

• Support domestic dispatch as needed

• Generate invoices and monthly reporting

Administration & Systems

• Maintain MPI Wine E-Cert access and compliance

• Update costs, pricing and product information

• Maintain barcodes, wine specs and process documents

• Manage system admin and access

Relationships

• Build strong, positive partnerships with freight partners and packaging suppliers

• Communicate effectively with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance and Winemaking

What you'll bring


• Experience in logistics, inventory or production coordination

• Strong attention to detail and confidence with systems

• Great problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

• Comfortable juggling deadlines in a fast-moving environment

• Knowledge of wine or FMCG preferred

• Experience with EZY inventory software a serious advantage
