The Role

We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our finance team based in our Hastings Branch. Bring your specialist AR knowledge and become an integral part of our growing team.

Your key attributes will be great communication and the ability to build strong working relationships across the wider team and our stakeholders. You'll be competent in working autonomously to manage your own workload ensuring acute deadlines are met and confident in navigating large software systems and the Microsoft Office suite.

Main Duties:

  • Create and update customers in or similar.
  • Create, generate, send, and process invoices.
  • Process emails relating to invoices/statements.
  • Investigate invoice anomalies and professionally manage discrepancies with customers.
  • Respond to queries from customers.
  • Process customer statements.
  • Prepare general ledger journals as required.

  • Strong financial acumen and computer literacy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong networking skills (internal and external).
  • Work effectively, and positively interact with your immediate team and the wider business.
  • Work well under pressure and have a calming influence among your peers.
  • The ability and willingness to adopt and quickly learn new systems and technology.

Experience:

  • NZ Experience in a similar role.
  • NZ Tertiary Qualification in Accounting or Business highly regarded.
  • Experience with the Microsoft suite of products
  • Knowledge of the Transport / Logistics and/or Warehousing industry would be highly regarded.
