The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Rewards Adviser to join our People & Transformation team on a 12-month fixed-term, part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced reward and remuneration specialist to make an immediate impact, supporting MAS with the design, implementation, and administration of reward programs.

Applications will be considered in Wellington and Auckland.

What You'll Do In this role, you will:

  • Provide expert advice on remuneration, reward, and total rewards policies and practices.
  • Support the review, maintenance, and benchmarking of salary structures, market data, and incentive schemes.
  • Assist with reward analytics, reporting, and insights to inform leadership decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of reward strategies that support MAS's vision and business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.

About You

  • Significant experience in reward, remuneration, or total rewards advisory within medium to large organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of job sizing (we use the Korn Ferry methodology),market benchmarking, and remuneration strategy.
  • Analytical mindset, with experience in reward reporting, data analysis, and salary benchmarking.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to communicate complex reward concepts clearly.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work independently in a part-time capacity.
