The Role

As Event Operations Manager, you'll lead a talented team of event professionals and oversee the seamless planning and execution of all events including large-scale and high risk events. This is a hands-on leadership role where everyday brings new challenges and opportunities from strategic planning to on the ground delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of event professionals
  • Oversee planning and delivery of events, ensuring compliance and risk management
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and clients
  • Manage budgets, systems (Momentus/Ungerboeck), and operational documentation
  • Champion Health & Safety and continuous improvement across all events
  • A solid understanding of ticketing systems and their integration into event planning and delivery

About You

  • 8+ years' experience in event management, with a strong background delivering large-scale, high-risk events
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
