Based from your home office or branches in Dunedin, Cromwell, or Invercargill, you'll manage the Southland and Otago regions, driving growth by hunting new business and building strong client relationships.

*About the role:*

  • Take ownership of the Southland and Otago region, driving growth through new business development as well as managing an established customer base.
  • Hunt for opportunities, proactively prospect, follow up, and participate in key industry events to secure new clients and revenue.
  • Manage sales documentation, agreements and transactions efficiently to ensure smooth deals and timely payments.
  • Provide regular sales reports summarising client visits, outcomes and your sales pipeline.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, using your insight and energy to strengthen your position and grow market share.

  • You're a highly motivated, results-driven sales professional with a true hunter mentality
  • You thrive on closing deals, finding opportunities others might miss, and turning prospects into loyal clients.
  • While experience in heavy equipment or construction is a bonus, your proven track record in sales, ability to learn quickly and drive to succeed are what really count.
  • You understand the full sales process, from prospecting and calls to site visits and proposals, and are comfortable running your territory autonomously.
  • You're financially driven and excited by uncapped commissions that reward your performance.
  • You bring energy, persistence and a hunger to grow, consistently looking for ways to outperform targets and make an impact.
