Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our team in Christchurch to predominantly look after projects in the South Island. The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Daily responsibilities include resource management, scheduling, logistics coordination, inspection tasks, and maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders. You'll be responsible for tracking progress, addressing challenges proactively, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Project Management and the ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively.
  • Understanding and experience with the NZS suite of contracts, particularly NZS 3910 and NZS 3916
  • Experience with Expediting and Inspection processes to ensure work aligns with project requirements and quality standards.
  • Strong skills in Logistics Management and Expeditor duties to ensure seamless workflows and timely progress.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in Procore project management tools is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
