Shark Ninja is expanding our APAC business and scaling it rapidly. Our two brands, Shark, and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 5 years, driven mainly by the very strong innovation pipeline on both brands. Given this success in our existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which New Zealand plays a critical role. We have taken over this market from our distributors, so that we can run them directly and drive strong growth, behind innovation and investments.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team. This role will be based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Position Overview

Key Account Manager will own sales performance, ranging, and promotional execution for the full Shark Ninja portfolio across the market. This position plays a pivotal role in establishing Shark Beauty as a leading brand in the premium beauty technology space.

What are the responsibilities?

  • Lead the commercial launch and execution of Shark Beauty's new SKUs across Hair Care and Skincare categories in the New Zealand market.
  • Manage account relationships with key retail partners, driving growth through strong joint business planning and execution.
  • Develop and implement promotional, pricing, and merchandising strategies to maximise sell-through and brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with marketing and category teams to deliver best-in-class product launches and retail campaigns.
  • Analyse sales performance, category trends, and competitive activity to inform strategy and identify opportunities.
  • Forecast demand and manage stock flow to ensure consistent availability and optimal inventory levels.
  • Prepare and present business reviews, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Champion the Shark Beauty brand across the retail landscape, ensuring strong alignment with the global brand vision and local market needs.

What requirements are we looking at?

We're after someone who's passionate about Business, great at building relationships, and excited to help bring Shark Beauty to life in New Zealand. This is a hands-on role where you'll get to shape how our products show up in stores and help us grow brands that's set lead the market for years to come.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years' experience in account management or sales ideally within Electrical , Beauty, or FMCG industry.
  • A good understanding of the NZ retail landscape and what drives great in-store execution.
  • Strong communication and relationship skills — you're confident talking to buyers and working with different teams.
  • Commercially minded —you will be comfortable with forecasts, reports, and promotional plans.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and keen to take ownership of results.
  • A natural eye for detail and presentation — you care about how a brand looks and feels on shelf.
  • A motivated, can-do attitude — ready to grow the brand and take over the beauty category.
