Legal PA

This role requires a Legal PA that has experience supporting a senior barrister. Our client is ideally looking for someone who has several years of legal PA experience, however strong PA skills outside of law will also be considered.

Your eye for detail will be exceptional, your efficiency and accuracy high, but when needed you'll spend the time "getting it right the first time'.

Our client's area of expertise is in family court work including, relationship property, childcare disputes, Family and High Court litigation including Hague Convention, Adoption and PPPR applications.

About you:

• Ideally, you'll have some Xero and digital dictation experience, however training will be provided in these areas if required
• Experience with legal software is ideal
• Ä whiz on the Microsoft suite of products
• Adobe Advance
• Ability to work 2-3 days per week, 10-12 hours in total, with the flexibility to do a few extra hours here and there, as required. How these hours are worked across the week is flexible, within Monday to Friday.
• Excellent communication skills a must
• You must be available to start at the end of October 2025, and until early February 2026. You'll have approximately 3-weeks off over Christmas, and the New Year period with paid statutory holidays.
• If you're a non-resident, you must hold the appropriate NZ work visa to apply.

Great hourly rate for the right candidate + 8% holiday pay + KiwiSaver.

This is a busy and varied role that will be hugely rewarding. As well as being an administrative extraordinaire you'll be the Family Court and client liaison, so a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is expected at all times.
