Located in Queenstown this role offers flexible hours and will be focused on carrying out the daily inspections and assisting with the operations our long-standing Holiday Homes business.  This role averages 20 hours per week over a 7 day work week - weekend work is required. Hours will fluctuate throughout peak and shoulder seasons.

As part of the Holiday Homes Guest Services team,you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our holiday homes and providing exceptional experiences for our guests. We are looking for someone with a keen attention to detail, experience in general repairs and maintenance, a strong understanding of property management, and the ability to follow systems and processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of our holiday homes, ensuring they meet our quality standards and resolving any maintenance issues promptly

  • Coordinate and oversee repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring they are completed to a high standard

  • Collaborate with our property management team to ensure the seamless provision of guest services, including check-ins, check-outs, and addressing guest inquiries or concerns

  • Maintain accurate records of property maintenance, inspections, and guest interactions

  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes and systems to optimize property management operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in property management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of general repairs and maintenance

  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring properties are in top condition for our guests

  • Knowledge of property management systems and the ability to adapt to new software or processes quickly

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented mindset

  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
