  • 1 x WHS officer
  • 1 x WHS manager

1. WHS Officer

The WHS Officer will deliver practical WHS support across day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include

  • Providing advice to workers and contractors
  • Supporting WHS inductions and safety programs
  • Assisting with risk assessments, SWMS and inspections
  • Supporting incident investigations
  • Engaging staff in proactive, positive safety practices

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in WHS
  • Practical WHS experience across operational environments

*2. WHS manager*The WHS Manager will lead the organisation's WHS strategy and oversee the development and implementation of its Work Health and Safety Management System. Key responsibilities include

  • Leading and mentoring a small safety team
  • Providing high-level WHS advice to leaders and staff
  • Managing WHS training, audits, compliance and safety initiatives
  • Leading incident investigations and Return to Work processes
  • Driving cultural change and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS or a related field
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Strong capability in WHS systems, training and compliance
