The Opportunity
We are seeking a Head of Finance who will be much more than a numbers expert. This is a strategic leadership role at the heart of Moi's commercial engine - providing financial stewardship, driving business insights, and helping shape the company's growth and success.

You'll oversee all aspects of financial management, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, while also contributing to commercial strategy, IT infrastructure oversight, and risk management. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring strong financial governance and sustainable business performance.

What You'll Do

• Lead the finance function, including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cashflow management.
• Provide strategic commercial advice to the Country Manager and Senior Leadership Team, influencing business decisions that drive profitability and growth.
• Manage foreign currency risk and develop appropriate FX hedging policies.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and ensure robust working capital management.
• Analyse sales and margin performance to support commercial and pricing decisions.
• Optimise inventory, debtors, and cashflow to support business efficiency.
• Maintain financial and tax compliance, including GST, FBT, and income tax obligations.
• Lead and develop a small, capable finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Manage and enhance the company's ERP systems and IT infrastructure to ensure operational effectiveness.

About You
You're a commercially astute finance leader with the ability to balance strategy and execution. You're comfortable translating numbers into business insights and enjoy being part of a collaborative, values-driven team.

You Will Bring

• A Commerce or Business degree.
• CA/ACA qualification (or part-qualified).
• 7+ years experience with at least 3 years in a Finance leadership role.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting standards.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (M3 preferred).
• Experience in FMCG or distribution industries (preferred).
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop finance teams.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.
• A proactive, analytical mindset and a passion for driving business improvement.
