Due to an internal promotion, we are commencing recruitment for a proactive, self-motivated and collaborative team player to join us as a Capital Investments Manager. Reporting to our, ANZ Major Capital Works Manager, this fixed term role is based at our Wiri site (until approx. March

Sitting within our Capital Investment Team, this role will be accountable for the delivery of a range of capital projects (ranging from capital plan strategic projects through to day-to-day maintenance), leading these from initial scoping through to design and delivery, ensuring that engineering and operations targets are set and achieved.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Leading approved projects and ensuring plans meet the operational requirements, guidelines, specifications of codes and regulations
• Delivering completed projects in line with business strategy, within the agreed timelines and allocated budget
• IWS redeployment based on business needs.
• Establishing, monitoring and updating construction work schedules
• Working with cross functional teams (including contractors and consultants) and communicating clear direction and expectations
• Operating within the capital culture framework aligned to Griffin's Project Management methodologies and processes
• Providing project governance by evidence of delivering allocated investments to successful completion, including delivering investments to business case assumptions
• Representing allocated investments at appropriate forums with reporting of actual performance and forecast, including early identification and escalation of any significant risks or potential overspends

What you'll bring to the role?

• 5 + years' experience in manufacturing, engineering and project management roles (an extra tick if you have experience within FMCG)
• Tertiary qualification (ideally in Engineering, Project Management or another relevant field)
• Ideally, you'll have experience in civil projects such as building
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills – you get along with everyone and enjoy the challenge of conflict resolution, influencing and finding solutions
• Exceptional organisational and planning skills.
• High levels of integrity, honesty, transparency, and accountability - you own your decisions and can be counted on to do what you say you will
• An innovative and curious mindset– you're not afraid to challenge the status quo & throw new ideas into the mix
