Our client Our client is a well-known organisation with a vibrant, people-focused culture. They're looking for a friendly and engaging receptionist to support their front-of-house operations in the new year.

This is a great opportunity if you're between roles, recently returned from travel, or looking to continue building your corporate office experience.

The roleBased in Parnell, this temporary front-of-house role runs from 5 January to 31 March 2026, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

As the welcoming face of the business, you'll keep things running smoothly at reception and support the wider workplace and events team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting visitors and supporting sign-in processes
  • Responding to emails and assisting with general enquiries
  • Booking meeting rooms and helping staff with day-to-day requests
  • Coordinating airport transfers, accommodation and ad-hoc reservations
  • Running errands when needed
  • Assisting the events team as needed
  • Maintaining a tidy, well-presented front-of-house space

*About you*You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy helping others, bring warmth to every interaction, and are comfortable being the go-to person at reception. We're looking for someone who has:

  • Prior experience in an office environment, ideally within admin or customer service
  • Confidence greeting visitors and engaging with staff
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
  • A proactive, helpful approach
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and general IT systems
