About the role

Due to a significant expansion over recent weeks and the addition of a number of new clients Allied Security are recruiting a Senior Operations Manager. As a Senior Operations Manager at Allied Security, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and effective delivery of security services across our operations in Auckland. This full-time position will see you leading a team of security professionals, managing day-to-day operations, and driving continuous improvement to enhance our service offerings.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the deployment and monitoring of security personnel to client sites
  • Coordinating incident response and liasing with emergency services as required
  • Maintaining detailed records and reporting on security operations
  • Identifying opportunities to optimize processes and implement new technologies
  • Providing hands-on training and professional development for the security team
  • Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and security regulations

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience (3+ years) in a security operations management role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Thorough understanding of security protocols, procedures and best practices
  • Proficiency in incident reporting, record keeping and performance monitoring
  • Familiarity with security technology and its application
  • Relevant security industry qualifications or certifications
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach to service delivery
