Chef de Partie

We are seeking to employ a Chef de Partie to help us prepare and serve fresh nutritious food for 390 students at Woodford House School, Havelock North.

Orton's is a long established catering company with an excellent reputation. We are contracted to provide our catering services to the students throughout the school year.

You would be joining a small team of experienced and innovative chefs who commit to meeting the expectations of the school. If you have prior experience in a professional kitchen (min 2-3 years), a good work ethic and want to be part of our team then please consider this opportunity

The shifts are a mixture of day and afternoon/early evening with some weekend shifts to prepare meals for the 7 day boarders at the school.

We will be offering a competitive wage rate for between 35-40 hours per week during the school year. We can also consider additional work with our parent catering company if you would like employment during the school holidays.

The start date would be 26th January 2026.
