The Company

My client is a respected leader in their sector. Renowned for its high-quality and innovative ways, the team is committed to creating a dynamic and supportive environment. They are now looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team.

The Role

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the Head of Finance and work alongside a wider finance team of 7. As one of the senior members of the team, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Deliver accurate financial reporting monthly close across multiple entities
  • Provide weekly cashflow forecasts
  • Lead preparation of Statutory financial statements and coordinate end-to-end external audits
  • Manage Tax Compliance (GST, PAYE, FBT, NRWT, Provisional Tax)
  • Oversee lease accounting (IFRS 16)
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts

Your Profile

You will ideally be CA or CPA qualified with proven experience in a similar role. You will have experience with tax, dealing with multi-entities and currencies. You will be detailed in terms of accuracy, a high level of knowledge using Excel and excellent time management skills. You will have confidence and experience hitting the ground running and performing within a short period of time.
